The Careers and Employability Service is a large, award-winning professional service which is committed to advancing the graduate prospects of our students and graduates. Based in locations across all three UK campuses, we work as one service to provide collaboratively conceived, locally managed and collectively delivered services to students from all our Schools and Faculties. 

Applications are invited for the above post based which will be based within Payroll Services at the University of Nottingham Kings Meadow Campus. 

JobZone sits within the Careers and Employability Service and is made up of two parts; Unitemps and TempZone. Unitemps is a franchise managed by the University of Nottingham’s Careers and Employability Service providing temporary staff to all departments across the University as well as to external clients in the local region, using students, graduates and local talent as a candidate pool. A key priority of the business is to help students become more employable by providing them with a wide range of temporary assignments while studying. TempZone sources temporary and agency staff for all departments of the University – filling positions with the help of an external Master Vendor and by exception, other recruitment agencies.

The University of Nottingham Payroll Services team process the Payroll for all employees of the University. They are also responsible for all candidate payments for JobZone for which this role will be responsible. The Payroll Administrator will be based within the Payroll Services team but the role holder will work closely with the JobZone team both face to face and via electronic communication to ensure accurate and on time payments to Unitemps employees. The role will be the primary liaison and point of contact for all payroll related matters for this group of payees and will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and data integrity between the payroll system and recruitment software used by the two departments.
