Applications are invited for a Senior Lecturer in Politics/Political Science in the Department of Politics within the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. The appointee will join a vigorous and lively department in an internationally recognised University with established strengths in the social sciences and humanities.
Applicants will hold a doctoral degree in Politics or Political Science and should have an established high quality publications profile. The successful candidate will contribute to the agenda of the Government & Opposition research group. We are particularly interested in applicants with expertise in public policy, British politics, electoral politics/behaviour, party politics, and quantitative research methods.
The successful candidate will contribute to delivering the teaching portfolio of the department and develop new modules in British and/or electoral/party politics for existing programmes.
The post will commence in January 2019.
