Description :

The University has invested heavily in the Faculty of Health Sciences, with the most visible statement of the Faculty’s ambition and the University’s investment in Health being the Allam Medical Building, the centrepiece of the University’s £28m Health Campus. This building – opened by her Majesty the Queen in November 2017 – provides state of the art accommodation for Hull York Medical School, the Institute of Clinical and Applied Health and clinical skills teaching facilities for our health and social care students.

The Faculty of Health Sciences was formed in February 2017 to consolidate the University of Hull’s expertise and experience in delivering high-quality education and research in the field of health sciences, healthcare delivery and social care. Encompassing three schools: Hull-York Medical School; School of Life Sciences; School of Health and Social Work, the Faculty has ambitious plans for developing and enhancing its teaching and research portfolio and the experience of students.  These plans will be informed and enhanced by our commitment to further embed patient and public involvement (PPI) within our processes (http://www.hull.ac.uk/faculties/fhs.aspx)
