The University of Hull, Faculty of Health Sciences is delighted to offer a full time permanent post as a Lecturer in Child nursing, working with a highly motivated and dynamic team of lecturers within the Midwifery and Child Subject Group.


The Faculty of Health and Social Care is an established provider of high quality undergraduate nurse education.  Offering education to student nurses across the four fields – adult, mental health, child and learning disabilities – the Faculty plays a vital role in the preparation and development of the future nursing workforce.


The faculty has four subject groups and the academic team for the nursing field of child sits within Midwifery and Child Health.   


You must be a children's nurse, and registered on the NMC professional register.   The post holder should have substantial experience of clinical children’s nursing practice and be able to provide mentorship, support and education to pre-registration student nurses.


An ability to communicate complex conceptual ideas to widely divergent audiences is also essential.


This post requires an enhanced clearance from the Disclosure and Barring Service for Adult & Child Workforce.
