Due to strong undergraduate and postgraduate recruitment and record research income we are advertising for an Assistant Professor in Environmental Process Engineering within the Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering. 

Candidates suited to the role will have the expertise and experience to deliver high quality research aligned with the field of solid waste valorisation and remediation, complementing current research activity within the Faculty of Engineering, e.g. Green Chemicals Beacon of Excellence, Food Waste Process Engineering. The research interests of candidates should have a clear pathway to impact on UK and global clean economic growth strategies. The successful candidate will be committed to delivering the highest quality learning experience to our undergraduate and postgraduate students. Candidates must have a high quality first degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering or an equivalent discipline strongly aligned with process engineering and a PhD in an associated field. 

This is a permanent full-time post, however job share arrangements may be considered.
