Clinical Assistant Professor: Salary £35,550 - £47,722 per annum. In addition, a non-consolidated clinical supplement of up to 15% (dependent upon clinical duties and role) is available for this post.

Clinical Associate Professor: Salary £50,618 - £60,410 per annum. In addition, a non-consolidated clinical supplement of up to 20% (dependent upon clinical duties and role) is available for this post.

The University of Nottingham’s School of Veterinary Medicine and Science invites applications for a Clinical Assistant Professor or Clinical Associate Professor in Anatomic Pathology.

The role will include teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and clinical service to the School’s Clinical Associates and clients. Part of the service requirement includes a service to research groups across the University and beyond. The appointment will be made on either the Teaching and Learning track or the Research and Teaching track, and at either Assistant (Level 5) or Associate Professor (Level 6), depending on the skills and experience of the successful applicant. For appointment on the R&T track, the successful candidate will be expected to develop both independent and collaborative research programmes with a commensurately reduced teaching a clinical load.

Candidates must possess a primary veterinary degree that can be registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and a further appropriate qualification, ideally at Diploma level, in veterinary anatomic pathology. 

Candidates should submit a CV which gives details of academic qualifications, including class of first degree if appropriate, a career summary and a full list of publications and research grants. A statement of not more than 500 words on your long term career plan is also required.

This is a full time, 36.25 hours per week permanent position. However, we will consider applications from those wishing to work part-time (minimum of 18.13 hours per week). Job share arrangements may be considered.
