Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Mathematics and Operational Research (SM3017-18-471)

We are seeking a mathematician who can contribute to the development and delivery of our courses using a range of teaching methods and ways of supporting student learning. In particular, we are seeking a candidate with expertise in operational research or who can develop such expertise. A PhD or extensive professional experience is essential as well as the potential to develop quality research and enterprise activity. The ideal candidates will therefore be capable of delivering a high quality student experience and have a strong commitment to advancing existing research in the School.

We have a strong track record of securing grants from research councils, the European Union, government-backed bodies like Innovate UK and industry and we have centres of research excellence in Computing and Engineering.
