The University of Brighton is on an ambitious trajectory in terms of its development and central to the success of this will be how it recruits, develops and utilises a talented workforce. We are looking for an HR Advisor to support the delivery of effective employee relations and this role will play an important part in the University's employee relations advisory team.

You will be responsible for providing employee relations advice and support to a group of schools and departments, in line with the Human Resources strategy and as part of the HR function, providing a comprehensive service.

You will hold excellent working knowledge of employment law/good HR practice with experience of having provided effective HR advice in support of complex casework and change management.  You will have sound influencing and negotiation skills to ensure desired outcomes are achieved, with the ability to advise managers at all levels of the organisation on a range of complex issues.

We are seeking to fill a fixed term contract 0.8 FTE fixed term post for one year to be based at our Mouslcoomb campus in Brighton.
