Are you experienced in providing support to disabled people?Do you have a flexible and adaptable approach to work, with a strong sense of commitment and reliability?

We are looking for a personal assistant to join the Support Worker Team to provide crucial support for a disabled woman who uses a powered wheelchair. You will play a vital role in providing a range of assistance to the individual, some personal in nature, to enable them to work efficiently and effectively and play a full and active role in the workplace. You will be employed to work a minimum number of contracted hours, paid on a time-sheeted basis, and your hours will be reviewed annually to correspond to the hours of the individual you will be providing support to. You will be required to commit to working one day a week, 0930-1930 and be part of a small team that will cover the normal working pattern of Monday to Friday 0930-1930 during term time only. There may be the opportunity to work additional days / hours if cover is required.
