Your experience of surveying buildings of varying ages and construction and knowledge of AutoCAD and building Information Modelling software will be welcome in our busy technical team, where you will contribute to the delivery of the University’s maintenance programme and manage various projects across the estate.

The role will include:

Project management of works of improvement, alteration and refurbishmentManagement of the implementation of programmes of major maintenance projectsContributing to the planning and formulation of long term maintenance plansThe management of external consultantsControl of quality, progress and finance in relation to building worksDeveloping and maintaining working relationships with colleagues within the Estates team and across the UniversityManagement of the department’s drawing records in AutoCAD/BIM format

To succeed in the role you will be educated to degree level in an appropriate surveying or construction related discipline, or have an equivalent level of knowledge and analytical skills gained through work experience at a similar level. Further information on what we are looking for can be found in the job description.
