Applications are invited for a fixed term teaching-only post in the field of Political Theory within the School of Politics and International Relations at the University of Nottingham.

The successful candidate will be expected to teach up to 12 hours per week at both undergraduate and postgraduate level delivering both lectures and seminar style teaching. The main responsibilities will be contribute to existing modules in Political Theory and British Political History. The candidate will conduct assessments of student work at all levels; supervise undergraduate and postgraduate dissertations; provide pastoral support to students and contribute to administrative tasks in the School.  

Candidates must have a completed PhD (or equivalent) in the field of Political Theory. The School seeks to appoint an individual with a track record of teaching excellence. 

This full time post is available as soon as possible and will be offered on a fixed term contract until 31 July 2019.
