The School of Psychology is one of the leading schools for psychology in the UK offering students state of the art resources to support their studies. In the latest Research Excellent Framework (REF) the School was part of a unit of assessment (Psychology, Psychiatry and Neuroscience) that was ranked in the top 10 in the UK for research power.

The purpose of the role is to provide efficient and effective administrative support to academics and other staff within the School. The primary responsibilities of this role include: supporting funding applications, offering a complete purchasing service to academics and servicing one or more School Operational Committees.

Candidates must have a good standard of education evidenced by GCSE level study or equivalent, and/or significant recent experience in a relevant role, a high level of attention to detail, and experience of planning their own work activities in response to differing priorities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, as is the ability to build working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. 

This is a full-time permanent position.
