Technical Specialist - Electronics and Computer Science (TS18-05)

In Technical Services at Staffordshire University we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Smart Technology team - to deliver high level instruction and support to students and staff in electronics and computer science. 

You will be working as part of the Technical Team supporting students across a range of awards with microcontrollers, signal processing, printed circuit boards, TIMs, NI myRio and labview. Also, C++ and advanced programming languages and other associated practices, software and hardware. 

The person sought must have a daring and innovatory approach to supporting the technical service requirements, passionate about investigating new or applicable technologies and the ability to develop skills in new areas. The role holder will be required to provide an excellent level of customer service with strong people support skills and with the ability to ensure that deadlines are met.
