Category: Admin/Clerical | Faculty/Division: Faculty of Health, Education and Life Sciences | School: HELS Faculty Office | Department: HELS Faculty Office | Location: City South Campus | Post Type: Full Time | Closing Date: 16 Sep 2018 | This post is fixed term for 12 months The appointment of Graduate Student Success Advisors in the Faculty of Health, Education and Life Sciences is to support a successful initiative within the University, designed to enable recent graduates and/or post-graduates to support the progression, success and ongoing development of current students within the three Schools of ‘Nursing and Midwifery’, ‘Health Sciences ‘and ‘Education and Social Work’.   The post holder (who will be a recent graduate or post-graduate) will be based at City South campus and will be responsible for providing support in delivering the University’s strategy and in particular the facilitation of support for enhancing the student experience. This is an important career development opportunity for graduates and/or post-graduates. Working as part of the team with academics, senior managers, researchers, professional services staff, central departments and of course students from the Faculty of Health, Education and Life Sciences. The post holder will provide evidence, advice and administrative support to inform the day-to-day success and strategic development of the Faculty. Who can apply? In order to ensure proximity to the student experience, we are looking for graduates and/or post-graduates who completed a programme of study since 2016; enabling you to act as a role model who can communicate confidently with students who are currently undertaking courses with the HELS faculty.
