Are you interested in developing a research and academic career while being able to practice and teach in Restorative dentistry? Do you have a research degree or are completing one in the near future? Are you interested in an academic career in Restorative dentistry?

We are seeking a highly motivated individual who is passionate about research and teaching in Restorative dentistry. You will be an individual who wishes to have a clinical role and who wishes to contribute to the development of undergraduate dentists and postgraduate dentists seeking to specialise in Restorative dentistry. In this position, you will have the opportunity to continue to develop your own research profile whilst continuing to develop your clinical profile and contribute to clinical Restorative dentistry. 

To be eligible to apply for this lectureship, you will be a qualified dentist and hold a higher research degree (PhD or equivalent) or be willing to work towards completing one. You will have a BChD or BDS degree (or equivalent) and hold full registration with the UK General Dental Council. You will have completed foundation training/relevant general professional training or the equivalent and have developed clinical competencies in Restorative disciplines. Evidence of a commitment and enthusiasm for pursuing an academic career in Restorative Dentistry is an essential requirement.
