A vacancy has arisen for the post of Quality Officer in the Faculty of Science and Engineering’s Quality, Learning and Teaching Section.

As a senior member of the Section you will work closely with the Quality Manager to ensure the delivery of quality assurance, monitoring, and compliance with regulations and codes of practice related to learning, teaching and the academic student experience. 

You will lead a small team to ensure the delivery of annual monitoring processes, maintenance of the programmes portfolio and module catalogue and organise the delivery of accreditation content for the wide range of professional bodies related to the subjects within the Faculty.  You will also work with the Quality Manager to support collaborative provision and work with partner colleges.  

Applicants will have experience of quality assurance within a teaching and learning environment including the interpretation of policies, procedures and regulations and their application. You will also have experience in advising academic staff and other colleagues on regulations and codes. 

You will be able to work accurately and have attention to detail; experience of managing deadlines and prioritising workload are essential as is the ability to work confidently and effectively with internal and external people and organisations.
