General Assistant (M192)

We have a great opportunity for work with the Hospitality team at Lancaster University – this position is available as an Apprenticeship Role for the right candidate 

We are looking for staff to work in the Hospitality Department, working variable hours each week including evening and weekend work, in a number of catering outlets across campus. Your work will involve a variety of tasks and provides the opportunity to expand your skills and experience. You will be the friendly face representing the University at VIP events for domestic and international visitors, serving our catered resident student alongside staff & external visitors on a daily basis. The delivery of high quality ‘customer’ service is essential and you will need to be able to deal with a diverse range of customers. 

The University holds a number of events over the year, which will need a team of reliable, hardworking and dedicated people to support their smooth running. The events will include the following:
