We provide food and beverage services to students, staff and visitors across the campus through the onsite outlets; Curiositea, Refectory and Bar BG. We also operate BG Conference & Events, a commercial conferencing business, The Venue, our onsite cinema and Longdales House, an eighteen bedroom guest house. We are looking to recruit staff into our existing team of Customer Service Assistants and have a variety of positions on offer. Successful candidates will work as part of the team to achieve sales targets through the delivery of excellent service standards and we look for people who will add value to the efficient and profitable running of our retail areas. To be successful in any of the advertised roles you will firstly need to have worked in a busy customer facing environment and you will need to have had career experience in one or more of our key areas of coffee, catering or bar. Candidates are expected to be self motivated and have an extremely high attention to detail and should have a knowledge of food safety procedures and practices.                 Given the nature of the roles on offer we are unable to offer fixed hours and successful candidates will need to be able to commit to flexible working patterns expecting some evenings and weekends to form an integral part of their working rota.
