About You

You will be a time served electrician with experience in a large organisation and a good knowledge of standards and best practice within the electrical industry. You will assist other Maintenance Technicians on new work and repairs as well as carrying out other tasks as required. You will be a self-motivated team player with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Building effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders is an important attribute of the role therefore excellent communication and interpersonal skills are vital.

About the Role 

You will make an important contribution to the maintenance and further development of the University estate.  Working in conjunction with the Maintenance Technicians and taking a lead role in their specific area of expertise. Delivering a responsive and flexible repair, maintenance, compliance and improvement service to meet the growing demands of the University.

You will build effective, positive and professional working relationships with colleagues across the University, developing and implementing a holistic approach to the achievement of the highest possible levels of service and customer engagement.
