The College of Science currently comprises eight Schools: Chemistry, Computer Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, Mathematics & Physics, the National Centre for Food Manufacturing, Pharmacy and the recently-established School of Geography, as well as the Lincoln Institute for Agri-Food Technology. The College, which is driving world-leading developments in autonomous systems, power and energy, biosciences, and climate change impacts, is going through a period of rapid development and change and is looking for dedicated, capable and well-motivated people to be part of this journey.

We have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to provide effective and efficient administrative support to the Science Foundation Year team within the College of Science. The role will support an academic team which provides Foundation Year studies to prepare students for transition into Level 1 of major degree programmes across the College. The successful candidate will have a collegiate approach enabling successful working with academic and administrative staff and students across the different subject disciplines within the College, as well as staff within the University’s central services departments. You will need to use initiative and prioritise your workload to meet tight internal guidelines, whilst working with minimum supervision. Experience of working in Higher Education would be an advantage.

This position does not fulfil the UK Visas & Immigration sponsorship criteria for Tier 2.
