We are delighted to be embarking on a significant new staffing recruitment phase across several of our key courses. The School is a great place to work and develop. The School has three simple objectives, to ensure that students have a great experience, that students are equipped with the skills required to get a job and finally that students has access to latest thinking in research and knowledge. We do this in an environment of trust, delegation and where everyone can achieve their full potential. The University is seeking to grow both teaching and research in the area of Sport, Coaching and Physical Education. The Sport programmes are a well-established and popular part of the School of Social Sciences portfolio.  The subject is offered as a BSc (Hons) Sport, Coaching and Physical Education programme and BA/BSc (Joint Hons) with Education Studies, Maths or Psychology.  The post requires flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills and a lively and informed engagement with current issues in the field.  You will be expected to lead and contribute to sport, coaching and physical education based modules and willing to undertake relevant research and scholarly activity to support the growth of research in your area of expertise.
