Can you inspire a team to deliver consistently excellent customer service? Would you like to join our team delivering academic library services to a diverse range of customers? 

We’re looking for confident and positive people with experience of leading and delivering first rate customer services. We need a committed person to help realise our vision that puts students and academics at the heart of everything we do.

The job is a varied one, so you’ll need to be proactive and be able to offer evidence of your organisational and planning skills. 

You’ll lead a team- recruiting, training and supporting staff and working to continually improve and develop services. Role modelling positive behaviour, you will help embed excellence in the team.

You’ll need to work independently at times, prioritise and manage your workload, and work with colleagues in your section and across all areas of University of Nottingham Libraries.

This role will be offered on a permanent, part-time contract. The post holder will also be required to work on one public holiday or University Closure day every year.

Hours of work:

Term time: Mon 5-10pm
Wed 1.45 -10pm
Sat 1.45-10pm
Sun 5-10pm

Vac: Mon 4-9pm
Wed 12.45 -9pm
Sat 12.45-9pm
Sun 4-9pm

Please note training may occur outside of these hours.
