Applications are invited to the above role to conduct research related to REF impact case studies and to funding bids.

Candidates must have an awareness of current UK higher education policies relating to research, knowledge exchange and impact, including the Research Excellence Framework, as well as experience of bid writing.

We seek candidates with excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and a proven ability of building relationships and collaborating with others. Candidates need to be able to work calmly under pressure against tight deadlines, using their own initiative.

Candidates must be educated to degree level in either media and communication, film and television studies, art history or a similar field. Post-Doctoral experience of involvement in funded research teams or impact case studies would be an advantage.

Previous experience of working in a similar role in a Higher Education Institution or equivalent setting would be desirable.

This post is available on a fixed-term contract until 31 July 2019, as a part-time role for 32.5 hours per week.
