Description :

Unipol Student Homes

The post is based in Nottingham but you will be expected to work occasionally in Leeds.

The Nottingham Services Officer has responsibility for:

• the effective delivery of all consumer information and services for those who use Unipol's housing services: landlords, institutions, students’ unions, larger accommodation suppliers, newly arriving students, returning students, families and those with special housing needs, Unipol's tenants, parents, visitors and web site users;
• maintaining and projecting the positive public face of the charity and service areas;
• maintaining the economic viability of Hub services and meeting revenue targets;
• overseeing pop-up services in various institutions and locations throughout the year.

The successful candidate must have a full current valid driving licence and access to their own transport to travel between sites during the course of their business. Car parking in both Nottingham and Leeds will be provided free of charge and a mileage allowance will be payable for travel to meetings in Leeds.

The Nottingham Services Officer will be required to attend some evening meetings and, at certain times of the year, to work at anti-social hours, including certain weekends and bank holidays (as are all Unipol staff).

The Nottingham Services Officer has an important role in ensuring the operation and coordination of Unipol’s virtual advice and information services provided in Nottingham and for enhancing the accommodation experience of its students. The Officer is the main operational link within Nottingham, between Unipol's services, the marketing process and staff at the universities, students and University departments.

This post entails delivering an efficient and consumer friendly service by running the services in Nottingham.

All those working in Unipol are employed jointly by the University of Leeds.
