Located within the School of Social Sciences, the Department of Psychology is a high performing entity providing students and staff with exceptional opportunities for teaching, research and professional development, within an applied and focused environment.  The Department of Psychology is recruiting an Assistant Lecturer in Forensic Psychology to provide maternity cover, who would ideally be able to offer high quality teaching, assessment, student supervision and pastoral care to students on the suite of Psychology programmes, including both BSc and MSc courses. The successful applicant will possess a Master’s qualification, possibly with an emerging profile in a relevant area of research in any aspects of Forensic Psychology. A PhD qualification would be an advantage, as well as previous module coordination and administration experience but these are not essential. This post would be suitable for an emerging academic, although evidence of external grant income, a track record of publications and outputs would be advantageous.
