Cleaner - 18hrs/week (ES0115R)

A Cleaner is required to provide an effective cleaning service across the University of Hull. The post will be based within the Cleaning Services Section of the Estates Services Directorate, which is led by the Cleaning Services Manager.

Members of the Cleaning Services Team are responsible for providing the cleaning service for all buildings on the Cottingham Road Campus and for the cleaning of the student accommodation on and off the campus.

The post holder will join a cleaning team that consists of over 100 part time staff, with 12 supervising staff and 2 full time senior supervisors. The posts will primarily be based on the Hull Campus. The purpose of the job is to ensure that all areas are cleaned to the required standards within a designated area. The areas to be cleaned will range from office facilities, lecture theatres, open access areas, toilets and stairways. The post holder must be able to work individually, as part of a team, able to carry out a variety of different cleaning roles and be prepared to undertake training where necessary.

The post is part-time (18 hours a week).
