Director of Early Years Clinical Professional Development (4 Programmed Activities)


University of Lincoln is seeking to appoint two new part-time clinical Director posts within the team that will deliver the early years & BMedSci for the BMBS medicine course (A10L & A18L) at the new University of Nottingham Lincoln Medical School, a partnership with the University of Lincoln.


This post will report to the Associate Dean of Medicine and will work closely with each other to ensure delivery of all clinical components of the early years and BMedSci University of Nottingham curriculum.


The post holder will also work closely with University of Nottingham colleagues, in particular the Vice Dean of Clinical Affairs and the Vice Dean for the Early Years & BMedSci, and the Director of Clinical Skills or the Director of the Primary Care Education Unit, to ensure the standardisation of processes and procedures across sites and quality management of delivery of the course at Lincoln. 


The post will be based at the University of Lincoln Campus, but travel to the University of Nottingham and other sites where the University of Nottingham Medicine course is delivered will also be required.


Candidates must have a medical degree, be on the GMC specialist register or general practice register, and be a member of a medical college or equivalent.  This post is suitable for senior doctors who are interested in developing and consolidating a career in Medical Education.


Salary will be within the range: £76,761 - £103,490 per annum (pro rata), depending on seniority, and is available from 1st January 2019.
