The College of Science currently consists of seven Schools; Chemistry, Computer Science, Life Sciences, Mathematics & Physics, Pharmacy, Engineering and the National Centre for Food Manufacturing. The College is driving world-leading developments in autonomous systems, medical vision, power and energy, and biosciences. The College of Science is going through a period of rapid growth, development and change and is looking for dedicated, capable and well-motivated people to be part of this journey.

The College is looking to appoint another Finance Clerk who will join a fast-growing team with the aspiration to establish a leading academic centre.  This is a key financial post within the College of Science and the post will be based in the Isaac Newton Building. The post holder will work closely with the Head of College, Heads of School (Computer Science, Engineering and Maths and Physics), College Director of Operations, College Finance Officers, Technical Manager and Central Finance to ensure correct and accurate accounting procedures are maintained and disseminated as appropriate.


The successful candidate will need to use initiative and prioritise workload to meet tight internal guidelines, whilst working with minimum supervision. Experience of working in Higher Education would be an advantage.


This position does not fulfil the UK Visas & Immigration sponsorship criteria for Tier 2.
