Located in a recently built facility at our Falmer site, just five miles from Brighton’s stunning sea front and vibrant city centre, the School of Education is one of the largest providers of education and training for student teachers, teachers and other professionals in the Higher Education sector.
In this role you will undertake the necessary administration to support the placement of students in schools, acting as first point of contact for all queries, liaising with the schools and maintaining databases and records of the placements.
You will have evidence of a high level of analytical, communication and problem solving skills and the ability to maintain and develop links with schools and answer student queries. Knowledge of how to develop and maintain effective office systems is essential as is a high level working knowledge of Microsoft Word and competence in the use of spreadsheets and databases.
This post is fixed term until 3/02/2019 due to uncertain business demand.
The successful candidate will be required to work 2.5 days a week, ideally Monday, Tuesday and Friday, to work alongside an existing job-share partner.
