We are seeking a motivated, organised and collaborative digital education developer to support both the University of Nottingham and Lincoln’s innovative partnership to create a new medical school at Lincoln from September 2019 (planned start date for this post, January 2019).

The role of Digital Education Developer (Medical School) is critical to delivering this aim and will engage with colleagues across the medical schools at Nottingham and Lincoln to deliver the digital elements of the Nottingham taught curriculum. The role holder will bring a coordinated and proactive approach to the support and enhancement of, and innovation in, digital education and engagement in furtherance of the University of Lincoln’s strategic agenda.

The University puts students at the heart of everything it does and has a reputation in the Higher Education sector for student-led innovation in teaching and learning. We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Digital Education Developer to provide support for the new medical school, utilising the existing Nottingham learning systems (Moodle, Rogo, etc) and associated learning resources in order to place them within a Lincoln physical context.


Reporting to the Dean of Digital Education, the role holder will be dedicated to the delivery of the medical programme within the new Medical School, working in close partnership with academic and digital education colleagues at both Universities. In particular, the role holder will lead digital support for creation, advice and practical input into effective strategies to enhance teaching and learning with technology to support our students to access learning resources in a timely and effective manner.

Excellent organisation and communication skills with advanced knowledge of digital learning tools are essential. Experience of supporting digital education within a medical (or associated disciplinary) environment are desirable.
