Duty Officer (SR5013-18-543)

This is a great opportunity to join Sport Brighton which aims to increase sporting opportunity for students, staff and the wider community at the University of Brighton. We have invested in an extensive and varied portfolio of facilities across three campuses from Eastbourne to Brighton and your experience in the leisure industry will help us ensure high levels of customer service, health and safety and quality assurance. 

Based at either Falmer or Eastbourne, with the requirement to work across the campuses on a rotational shift pattern that includes evenings and weekends, you will work as part of a vibrant, forward-thinking team to oversee facility operations, including the technical aspects in relation to facilities and equipment. 

To succeed in the role of developing Sport Brighton staff, activities and programmes, you will need a sound working knowledge of the leisure industry at a technical/supervisory level, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage time and workload effectively across sites.
