We are seeking to appoint a lecturer who can contribute to teaching finance on a range of undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes which offer a variety of finance modules and electives.  We particularly welcome applications from candidates who have experience of, and the ability to teach, financial econometrics, investment analysis, derivatives and risk management.

Applicants will demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and an innovative approach to delivering the curriculum. Ideally you will have experience of Higher Education, including module leadership, a clear research record or course leadership experience; however applications from candidates with senior professional experience seeking to move to a career in education will also be welcome.

We have a strong commitment to developing highly-employable graduates.  A key asset is our dedicated placements operation, with many students gaining placements at leading companies.

We are ranked in the top 5 UK business schools for the impact of our research.  The finance and economics subject group is actively engaged in research and publication, with particular strengths in financial econometrics, stock market liquidity, crowd funding, SME finance and risk management.
