We are seeking a highly motivated Research Technician to support the development of Teixobactin project. This project involves the development of simplified highly potent synthetic teixobactins against Multi-drug resistant bacterial infections using unique design and efficient synthesis developed at Lincoln. It will build on our exciting work on synthetic teixobactins. This project is funded by Rosetree Trust. Some examples of teixobactins research at Lincoln are:

This project will develop a library of teixobactins against clinically relevant multi-drug resistant (MDR) bacteria. This is a multi-disciplinary project at the interface of chemistry and biology have work packages in synthesis and microbiological evaluation of molecules. 

This post is based within the School of Pharmacy at the University of Lincoln. This post offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience with leading researchers in the development of new class of antibiotics against MDR pathogens.

This position does not fulfil the UK Visas & Immigration sponsorship criteria for Tier 2.

This post is full time fixed term until 31 March 2020.
