Lancaster University Students' Union are very pleased to have been appointed by the Rugby Football Union (RFU) as the Lead Institution in a Cluster Partnership project with UCLan University which is aimed at increasing student participation across the region. We are therefore looking for a dynamic individual to take up the position of Rugby Participation Coordinator who will work with dedicated staff across both institutions to deliver this new and exciting project. 

To succeed in this role you will need to have a talent for instigating and nurturing a range of partnerships as this role will involve working collaboratively with a variety of people and organisations, both internal and external to the institutions. This will include facilities staff, college representatives, student volunteers, community clubs, the RFU and other HE institutions. 

We are looking for a talented professional who can meet our high standards of quality when it comes to activity design, promotion and delivery. Someone who can collaborate creatively with others but who also is not afraid of taking responsibility for the successful delivery of sessions and events. The ideal candidate will also have empathy and understanding for what it is like to be a student today and will have experience of working sport in higher education.In return we can offer you an attractive employment package and a supportive, flexible, and fun work environment. This is a fixed term contract until 30th June 2021 with a normal working pattern of full time hours (36.5) for 35 weeks a year.
