Laboratory Technical Assistant (1064818BJ)

You are invited to apply for the full time post of Laboratory Technical Assistant to work as part of the Technical team supporting the School of Biological Sciences teaching activities. 

The ideal candidate will have an interest in Biological Sciences and an appreciation of hazards in the workplace. The candidate must have a willingness to work with a variety of waste streams (chemical, biological and recycling), to adhere to specific cleaning protocols and be able to assist in the cleaning, calibration & maintenance of a range of common basic laboratory equipment. The candidate should be competent at using common computer packages and administrative systems.

The School of Biological Sciences technical team is an adaptable, proactive and hardworking team and the ideal candidate should have a good range of soft skills that will upkeep the team’s work ethic.
