The Research Degrees Office is offering a part-time administrator role to help support administration of the PhD lifecycle. Based in the Learning Centre building on the Stag Hill Campus, the Research Degrees Office is part of the University's Doctoral College.  The Research Degrees team is student-facing and is led by the Research Degrees Manager.   The post holder will be supporting the work of the team by, amongst other tasks, helping to process actions following monthly committee meetings and assisting with examination arrangements (external examiner invitations, dispatch of theses).   The University of Surrey is amongst the highest achieving universities in the United Kingdom, having been awarded the Times/ Sunday Times University of the Year Award for 2016.
