This role will contribute to the ERC project of Professor Mark Gieles, and develop a new method to derive the initial conditions of globular clusters.

The successful candidate will couple multimass dynamical models (LIMEPY) to the fast cluster evolution code EMACSS and fit simultaneously the present day and initial properties of globular clusters in the Milky Way.

The successful candidates will have:

A PhD in astrophysics or relevant experience Experience with LIMEPY and EMACSS Computational experience in Python and model fitting to data
