Are you confident working with financial information and statistical data?  Do you have strong interpersonal skills, and are you comfortable leading a team and liaising with colleagues and suppliers?  Are you a team player, able to make a positive contribution to resource management in this large HE library?  

The Access and Acquisitions Team acquires information resources for the Library – hard copy books and journals, and e-resources such as e-books, e-journals and large online packages.  This role focuses on our subscriptions management and serials binding.

You’ll have day-to-day responsibility for making sure our discovery tools have accurate and up-to-date descriptions of our subscription holdings and that access is maintained.   You’ll process subscriptions invoices, supervise the administration of print subscriptions including check-in and binding. You’ll respond to enquiries and liaise with suppliers and providers to resolve any issues.  You’ll ensure the team assistants can work flexibly to reflect varying activity levels through the year, and prepare them for changes in technology and systems.
