This exciting post provides the opportunity to provide administrative support to a research programme plus clinical academic training.


The post-holder will therefore be responsible for providing administrative support to both the RESOLVE Programme and to the Integrated Academic Training Programme. 


Tasks will include: planning and coordination of programme and training meetings; liaison with collaborators and contributors across Yorkshire (RESOLVE programme) and IAT trainees (including prospective trainees), HEE, NHS, University and NIHR partners; minute-taking; diary coordination; room bookings; conference, workshop and meeting administration; transcription of interviews; supporting the publication of papers; drafting and typing report-writing and funder submissions. 


Occasional travel in Yorkshire and nationally may be required.


The role requires a high level of administrative experience, skill and knowledge that will help support the projects. With excellent organisational and communication skills the post holder will be expected to contribute to the ongoing improvement through process reviews to ensure quality assured office practices and procedures are established and maintained.


As part of a professional research team the role requires knowledge and experience of the standard office packages, as well as enthusiasm and flexibility to contribute to a demanding workload and the need to be able to react to the changing requirements of this varied role. Experience of working within an NHS and/or research environment would be highly advantageous.
