An exciting opportunity exists to join the Temporary Staffing Service, which  is housed within the Resourcing Department, and which forms part of the Human Resources Directorate, based at the Cottingham Road campus. The post holder will be working as part of an administrative HR team, providing a professional recruitment/administrative service, with a high focus on delivering outstanding customer service relating to temporary employment queries to applicants, managers and colleagues across the University.

On a daily basis, you will provide a full administrative service for temporary recruitment using HR systems to manage a process through, from sourcing and advertising to issuing assignments, and will be the first point of contact for applicants and managers in relation to recruitment and associated employment queries. Working within established procedures, you will ensure all pre-employment checks are completed, as well as associated administrative duties such as office supplies, meeting arrangements and preparing paperwork alongside management of the candidate and recruiting manager experience.

With knowledge and experience of recruitment procedures (especially in the temporary recruitment sector), a background in administration and customer service, together with the ability to handle a range of IT applications, you will be highly organised, able to work to tight deadlines in a fast moving environment and possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to exchange information promptly and in a courteous and effective manner and work with colleagues to deliver team results.
