This is an essential role designed to support all staff in relation to the management of research and enterprise (R&E) activities and to assist the School Administrative Manager with the financial processing work of the School of Applied Social Science.

Working as part of a team of support staff you will provide general administrative support for the Deputy Head of School Research & Enterprise and will manage the organisation of a range of internal and external events.

As well as servicing the School's R&E meetings, you will be responsible for the design, creation and development of effective and efficient management information systems to ensure that the needs of the School and the University are met.

You will be experienced in team working and have proven organisational skills, an excellent level of IT skills and flexibility to meet and deal with competing demands. You will be expected to operate in a highly professional manner and maintain effective professional relationships across the university.

A familiarity with the HE sector and its aims and objectives will be an advantage.

The selection process will include test exercises and a panel interview. The anticipated start date would be as soon as mutually agreeable.
