Psychology is currently the largest area within the School of Human and Social Science. The psychology department is seeking additional staff to further consolidate the teaching and research quality of the subject area. We are a vibrant and collegiate department that prides itself on the high level of student support that encourages students to achieve their potential.   Applications are welcomed from individuals who are committed to delivering high quality teaching and research. We are seeking applications from highly motivated candidates to contribute to teaching of, but not limited to, Health Psychology.    The ability to contribute to other core BPS subject areas would be an advantage. The successful candidate will be expected to lead modules, tutorials, seminars and lectures as required, as well as supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate research projects.  The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the research and publication profile of the department.   This is an exciting opportunity for suitably qualified candidates who should hold a PhD in Psychology (or be very close to completion) with a track record of high-quality research.  It is preferable that you are a HCPC registered Health Psychologist and have Chartered Membership of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and be a full member of Health Psychology Division.   Applicants should have relevant experience of working in the Higher Education Sector in Psychology.  Additionally, you must be able to work flexibly, work as part of a team and be prepared to support students in reaching their full potential.
