We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual to join our Student Services Department as a Business Administration Apprentice, Advanced Level.  This role is based across two Student Services Development teams based at University Park.

The Student Services department specialises in providing the administrative services necessary to underpin the student lifecycle, from initial University registration to graduation. 

The Development team lead on the creation and improvement of processes and systems underpinning the delivery of the student lifecycle. The apprentice in our Development team will have the opportunity to work alongside colleagues in our Specialist Processes and Continuous Improvement and Data teams. There are also teams responsible for managing the processes for handling registration, student records, placements, examinations, timetabling, fees and finances across the University, the apprentice will also gain exposure to these important areas.

Responsibilities will include:

Student Services administration supportAdministration and support of meetings and events Continual Improvement project supportNew system testing and data qualityBuilding a knowledge of University and School policies and procedures

The post incorporates the equivalent of one day per week studying and four days per week of work based in one of the teams.

Applicants must have excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and accuracy are essential. Applicants must be willing to learn new skills and work as part of a wider team.
