Description :

The University of Bath’s Office for the Arts organises programmes for both public and campus engagement. It also supports the extra-curricular interests of students and staff based on an ethos of arts excellence.

We are seeking someone with a passion for developing the talents of others and willingness to support our campus community’s arts activities.

The role supports the work of our Student & Young Peoples Arts Development Manager in co-ordinating and delivering student and campus community arts programmes. This includes scholarships, social events, instrument loans and co-ordinating performance opportunities. Importantly you must hold good administrative skills and be able to undertake a variety of tasks in a small team.

Many activities take place at The Edge, the University’s centre for the arts, where this role is based. It’s an important time to be joining the team as The Edge is developing its arts and science brand for public engagement purposes, whilst maintaining a supportive ecosystem for campus arts users.

For further information about The Edge please visit https://www.edgearts.org

At suitable times you should also expect to support the delivery and administration of wider arts provision, event organisation and research engagement objectives at The Edge as well as occasional purchase ordering, promotional work, note taking and record keeping.

This is a part-time role working 29.2 hours per week.

For an informal discussion about the role please contact Eloise Tong (e.j.tong@bath.ac.uk)
