Description :

The University of West London is ranked as the top modern university in London*. Shortlisted for Times Higher Education’s prestigious “University of the Year award”, and with 98% of our graduates in employment or further study within 6 months of graduating**, is the Career University.

We are now seeking to recruit three senior managers in Registry to develop and lead on the implementation of a new Registry strategy and to take the service to the next level. Reporting directly to the Associate Pro-Vice Chancellor and Chief Information Officer and working collaboratively together, these posts will form the Registry Senior Management Team.

Leading a small team of assistant registrars, the Academic Registrar is responsible for maintaining the University’s academic standards, academic regulations and the safeguarding of the University’s degree-awarding powers. You will need to work collaboratively with colleagues within and external to Registry and at all levels of the institution. You will play a key role in formulating and influencing academic policy and will have oversight of the University’s academic regulations.

You’ll have proven experience in the Academic Registry leadership environment and have a real passion for enhancing the student experience. With an ability to extract and visualise complex data, you will be instrumental in key management decisions and proactive ways of working. Combined with a clear eye for detail, this role will suit someone who holds quality and best practice amongst their core values.

We would be particularly interested in speaking with you if you have experience of developing academic regulations to include new approaches, particularly with regard to partnership and TNE activity.

With the Elizabeth line opening we will be even more accessible; our Ealing campus becomes only 42 minutes from Reading and 24 minutes from Liverpool Street.

There isn’t a better time to join the University of West London, and if this sounds like the right challenge for you, we’d love to hear from you.

Everyone will get a response.
