The Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences is currently looking to hire an IT Support Analyst. The role will support and improve the University’s effective use and exploitation of IT solutions and services, enabling and enhancing its research, teaching and administrative activities. This post is essential to enable the University to carry out its activities with the appropriate support of technology.

The post holder will work to provide IT maintenance and support across the faculty, this will include desktop workstations, supported laptops, printers, multifunction printing devices, audio-visual equipment, and basic networking issues. They will also be involved in IT project work and mentoring and training of junior staff. The post holder will assist with the implementation of the Faculty’s IT strategy for academic, administrative and research staff along with postgraduate and taught students.
