We are looking for an HR Officer to be part of our HR Support team. The HR Department comprises a number of teams (HR Operations, Employee Relations, Equality and Diversity and Learning and Development) and the HR Support team sits within HR Operations which also includes Recruitment, as well as Systems & Information. This team handles a broad range of generalist queries, provides advice on HR processes and procedures and is responsible for ensuring that all contractual changes are dealt with promptly and accurately.  Therefore, the role of HR Officer will need the following: 

generalist HR knowledge, and a good understanding of employment lawto be very comfortable working with HR and Payroll databasesto be systematic, customer and solutions focusseda good eye for detail an understanding of the importance of compliance (UKVI) previous supervisory experience, and to be proactive in looking at process improvements

The post has arisen following a successful internal promotion, and is fixed term to provide an opportunity to review requirements as we have a number of significant projects.
