Lecturer / Associate Professor in Business, Organisations and Sustainable Societies (ENVEE1287)

Do want to help lead the development of the next generation of sustainability practitioners?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated social scientist with a focus on sustainable business, corporate social responsibility and sustainable change research to develop and enhance links with industry and organisations. The post will lead and further develop the MSc Sustainability and Business programme, which is delivered jointly with Leeds University Business School.

Your research should focus on the interrelationships between businesses and/or organisations and sustainable development. You will contribute to the work of the Business and Organisations for Sustainable Societies research group (BOSS), which has developed a strong reputation for sustainability research that draws on, develops and tests theories and approaches enabling businesses and organisations to tackle the challenges of sustainable development in a coherent, systematic and holistic way. The group works with a range of businesses (e.g., from small domestic installers to large businesses like Asda and Unilever) and organisations (such as universities and the NHS). As a member of the BOSS group you will exploit opportunities from one or more of the University’s interdisciplinary strategic research themes (health, water, food, energy, culture and cities) by enhancing interdisciplinary research across the School and University.

You should have a PhD, research and teaching experience and publication track record relevant to the area and grade of the appointment.
