The Energy Research Accelerator project is recruiting an interim programme manager due to the imminent departure of its COO.  This short-term appointment could be an ideal secondment opportunity for someone looking to for a career development opportunity or temporary promotion.  The post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day programme management, coordination and reporting for the project whilst we seek to reappoint a COO.  

The Energy Research Accelerator is a strategic collaboration that brings together 7 core academic partners (the Universities of Aston, Birmingham, Leicester, Loughborough, Nottingham and Warwick and the British Geological Survey) and two associate partners the universities of Cranfield and Keele.  This high-profile programme consists of a £60M capital investment from government and £120M of match drawn from a large number of stakeholders.  A flagship project for the Midlands Innovation university partnership successful delivery of the programme is critical.  The post holder will report to the Midlands Innovation Director.  The primary purpose of this interim post is to ensure a continuity of experience for the funder and to enable an effective handover of processes and records from the outgoing COO to the new one when they are appointed.

This post will be offered on a fixed-term secondment for a period of 6 months. Hour of work will be full-time (36.25 per week). Job share arrangements may be considered.
