The Programme Management Unit (PMU) is responsible for the delivery of Capital Projects at the University of Southampton. We are seeking a Receptionist/Administration Assistant to join our small and friendly team.

You will be responsible for ensuring our guests receive a warm and professional welcome. You will deal with enquiries from external bodies and assist in the organisation and facilitation of meetings. You’ll provide general admin support to the team with a strong focus on financial matters.

The successful candidate will possess relevant academic qualifications and have some experience in a similar role. You will be a customer focused individual who has a working knowledge of Microsoft office applications. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required, enabling you to build relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders and be a team player with a “can do” approach to service delivery. You will be able to organise and manage your own workload and use your initiative to enable PMU’s high standards to be maintained. 

Experience of using the Agresso Finance system would be advantageous.
